Well, N4 is dropping this month! Since we’re in this awkward phase where the new edition hasn’t dropped, I wanted to give people a stopgap mission.
With all of the changes happening to the rules, unit profiles, hacking, MSV, cover, etc., we’ll all effectively be learning new armies when the new edition drops. To put us all in that mindset, let’s swap armies with our regular opponents and learn their army!
One of the silver linings of COVID is the widespread adoption of Tabletop Simulator, which makes it really easy to try other armies if you can’t get an in-person game.
- Find an opponent who plays an army you don’t play (and vice versa).
- Swap armies with them!
- Play a game!
If you’re up for the challenge, play the game as an N3.5 game! You can thank Alexander from WGC Infinity on Facebook for this compiled list of rules:
- Let us know how you did by writing in to firstname.lastname@example.org!
- We’re accepting submissions until the last day of July, 2020!
- If you’re going to write a battle report, please use the battle report template below, and share it with email@example.com.
If you share the Google doc with me, that saves me TONS of time handling the images.
As a thank you for participating, you’ll be entered to win a blister of your choice, shipped to your door by Mythic Games!
If you’d prefer a Bromad Academy patch, we can mail that to you instead! You only get one or the other though. Winners will be selected by random.org.
Learning a New Army
If you need some help structuring this exercise, Adam (TheDiceAbide), Isaac (xammy), and I talk about our thoughts on learning a new army in this episode of Late Night Wargames:
And that’s it! Good hunting, Bromads! Stay safe out there!
